इंग्रजी अक्षरे, अंक व आकृत्या

इंग्रजी शिकण्यासाठी इंटरनेटवर अनेक संकेतस्थळे उपलब्ध आहेत. लिटरसी सेंटर एज्युकेशन सेंटर या संस्थेने इंग्रजी अक्षरे, अंक, इंग्रजी अक्षरे लिहिणे, तसेच वेगवेगळ्या आकृत्या कशा ओळखाव्यात व काढाव्यात याविषयी मनोरंजक व माहितीपूर्ण संकेतस्थळ तयार केले आहे. या संकेतस्थळाची २००८ या सालात ३ कोटी पाने वाचली गेली. त्यावरील विविध विभाग खाली दिले आहेत. त्यांच्या या कार्याबद्दल तसेच पुनःप्रसिद्धीस अनुमती दिल्याबद्दल ज्ञानदीपतर्फे लिटरसी एज्युकेशन सेंटरला धन्यवाद.यावरील विविध विभाग खाली दिले आहेत.

	Colors Recognizing colors and reading color names is an important part of a child's development. Early identification of colors helps to create the cognitive link between visual clues and words. The exercises in this section begin with color recognition and then move into associating colors with color words.
	Letters ( Uppercase and Lowercase) In this section, we introduce children to spoken and written alphabets. Each exercise is designed to help children understand the relationship between the spoken letter name and written letter form.
	Numbers Mathematical skills are integral to literacy. Without a strong foundation in number recognition, children will have difficulty performing other academic tasks. In this section, we begin by helping children recognize each number.
	Writing Writing is a key element of literacy. Many believe that the kinesthetic experience of forming letters allows children to internalize the alphabet by helping them make the connection between the letter form and its name.
	Shapes Introducing children to basic geometric shapes can lay the foundation for important mathematical skills. In this section, we begin with an introduction to the basic shapes. Once the child can recognize basic shapes, you can begin to draw the connection between the shapes and shape names.
	Words In this section of the website, children use their knowledge of letter names to begin to build words. Our lessons allow children to see letters placed in a line. They can see that even though there are numerous letter options, only certain letters actually form words.
